Ethel Garden Gloves Giveaway

My Ethel Gloves after a good workout!!

I ran a giveaway on Thyme for Herbs for a pair of Ethel Garden Gloves. I was excited to learn that I had a chance to give away a second pair, so I thought of my readers on my cooking blog. I'm sure a lot of you are also gardeners and are growing your own herbs indoors or out.
So if you missed out on a chance for the other pair or are just now finding out about them, this is your lucky day!

Ethel Gloves are high quality gloves made especially for women so they fit perfectly. They have a four-way stretch fabric on the back for comfort and the palm and fingertips are covered with a synthetic leather for protection. They're strong, durable, and at the same time very elegant and fashionable. I love my Ethel Gloves and I'm sure you'll enjoy these gloves, too, whether you're outside in the garden or just working in your potted herbs and plants.

If you'd like to purchase a pair of these wonderful garden gloves, Ethel Gloves is offering a 10% discount until April 7th to all of my readers. Just type in HERBAL10 at checkout.

Here's how you can enter for a chance to win your very own Ethel Gloves:

1. Leave a comment about your favorite style of Ethel Gloves and how you would use them. Be creative with your answer. If the first person chosen does not meet qualifications, I will choose my favorite answer.

2. For a second chance to win, sign up as an e-mail subscriber with Feedburner, Feed Blitz, or become a Google Follower (see sidebar.) Then leave a second comment telling me you have subscribed or that you are already a subscriber.
If you subscribe in more than one way, leave a separate comment for each.

3. For a third chance to win, blog about this contest with a link here, then come back and leave another comment telling me about it.

4. If you're not a blogger, be sure to leave your contact e-mail address like this to avoid spammers: pianananna(at)gmail(dot)com. If I don't have a way to reach you or you don't respond in three days, your name will be disqualified, and I will choose again, picking my favorite answer.

Good Luck!!

Open to all.
Winners will be chosen by random.org.
Email addresses will not be shared with any third parties.
This Giveaway ends on Sunday, March 22nd at midnight ET.

My favorite piar is called Rendevous. I chose that pair because of the color combination. My two favs for color...you should see my house. I plan on using them as I prune my roses and to pick up and move any crittter that should come crawling along to see what I am doing. Beetles and all do have their place, but not on me while I'm tending to things.

I like the Gala pattern. I'll use the gloves to help my hubby with the gardening. I'll miss my youngest daughter (who moved out a few months ago), especially during the gardening season, as she has a knack for it. I hope she will come for frequent "gardening visits"! I may consider giving these gloves to her. I could use them as a bribe for some gardening...hmmm...

I'm glad for another chance to win these! I like the Gala style.

I've only recently started waring gloves on a regular basis while working outside. I'm getting tired of having to spend so much time washing my hands and nails. I find I where them more in the summer, to protect against such critters as the the Black Widow, which is prevalent in our area.

love the gala- they are dark and I tend to get really dirty whenever I do anything- would use them moving boxes in the garage- to protect my hands and working outside- working in the garden, mowing, shoveling poop and throwing it at whereever neighbor deserves it most---ok jk but my hands seem to need the protection and when I do not wear gloves it takes a few days but notice scratches and cuts and bruises and broken nails that could have been avoided in the first place.

Ellen said...

My favorite is the Signature. It looks classy and feminine. I would wear them when I clean out my outside storage this spring because I will look like a lady while doing some down right dirty work. ;-)

Expressions is red plaid. I have an opera length cape in almost the exact color and plaid style.

As well as the regular times I go out with the cape, I will now have matching gloves.
This is too much fun.

Oh, I loved the Jubilee gloves the moment I saw them. I am thrilled that there are quality gloves for women who love to garden. I look for every opportunity and (excuse) to be outside in the spring/summer. It's such a short season here in the upper MidWest and I would wear those gloves, in my veggie garden, pruning/weeding my raspberries and my little flower gardens that I get such a kick out of. I also have a little herb garden that I plan to start to harvest for the first time this summer - Cant Wait!!!!

I think the Jubilee gloves would help me make a lovely fashion statement while trying to tame my unruly garden (see http://weedy-garden.blogspot.com/ to see what I mean!) Aside from helping to keep my delicate, gentle-raised hands protected and unblemished :), it would also protect from a potentially nasty bite when I encounter the resident black snake while weeding! It would be great fun to putter around the yard or do some hard core digging and planting with such nice gloves as these, especially since we have burrs all over heck and back and I am forever getting them (painfully) stuck in my fingers! I like the Jubilee design the most. I love the color of those gloves. I would use the gloves for when I have to cut the grass and empty grass from the lawn mower bag or rake leaves to avoid getting my hands dirty. This is a great giveaway and I really hope I win as these gloves would sure come in handy. Thanks.

I like the Jubilee. I am going to make a larger garden this year, and I need all the help I can get.

I love the Rendevous glove and would wear them to carry my eco tote bags to the farmers market this summer
